What is online personal training?
Obviously with in-person personal training you’d be working directly with a trainer in the gym – possibly a couple of times a week. However, that service might not come with a training and nutrition plan to undertake away from those sessions – meaning you’re potentially missing out on a lot of progress. When you sign up for online personal training via Onside PT you’ll be given bespoke training and nutrition plans and mindset coaching alongside detailed weekly video feedback. You’ll also have the opportunity to book in calls with me each week so we can check in on your progress and discuss anything else you’d like to talk through.
Who are Hogarth PT “typical” clients?
Typically, clients that sign up to Hoagarth PT tend to have one of the following goals: physique improvement, fat loss, better sports performance, improvement of general health or inexperienced gym users who want to feel confident training in a gym.
How often will the contact be with each other?
Once a week as an absolute minimum but likely more often than that. Every two weeks you'll be reminded to check in on the app, which will be for your new photos and questions to answer to see how you're progessing on your plan. You'll have many options, either a video, written live video feedback if you’d prefer. In that feedback, Hogarth PT will look through your gym/cardio performance, analyse what you’ve eaten and how you’re tracking against your calorie/macro targets, feedback on any habit/mindset goals we’ve agreed on, review your progress against your goals etc.
I'm new to the gym/fitness in general – will this work for me?
Yes – Many clients who use Hogarth PT started as total beginners who had never step foot in the gym before. Everyone will be treated as an individual – so your plan will be built with your experience levels in mind. When you sign up, you’ll complete a relatively detailed onboarding questionnaire which will give all of the information needed to be able to build a plan which is optimal for you to get the results you want to achieve.
Can I train from home rather than the gym?
Totally – Somtimes clients don’t want to go to the gym either because they have home-gym setups or because their local gym is too busy and they don’t enjoy that kind of environment. IHogarth PT will build a programme for you which is based on the equipment you have ready access to. New clients at Hogarth PT who don’t have any equipment but don’t want to join a gym, would be recommended to purchase some basic kit such as some dumbbells, resistance bands and an adjustable bench.
